Lifeline Outreach Int’l had the priveledge of partnering with Westside Ministries in reaching the Turlock, CA area with non-perishable and perishable food items as well as medical supplies and medical prescription cards for the community. We were able to service hundreds of families in a time of great need, as two major food plants are shutting down and over 700+ people losing their jobs.

During this outreach we saw many youth and gang kids coming in off the street and looking for an answer as drugs and alcohol wasn’t satisfying anymore. Many of these youth were instantly set free of addictions as they listened to the Gospel of Jesus Christ and what He did for them on the cross. After receiving Jesus Christ their countenance was totally changed. Thanks to Westside Minsitries who will be working with these youth on a weekly basis to help with job skills and education.

As Maria shared her testimony of being set free from sexual and physical abuse, there were many more who poured into the altar to receive Christ as their Lord and Savior. “There was one biker guy, as I layed my hands on him began to say, “It’s real! Its Real”, Magruder says. “It was the first time he had experienced the realness of God. His first encounter with the Lord.” “Jesus is real, He not only wants to feed people natural food, but give them spiritual food also.”

The host ministry, Westside Ministries of Turlock – was so over joyed of the results of the whole entire weekend they have decided to make this an annual event. Lifeline Outreach Int’l has already made plans to return to Turlock, CA the last weekend of January 2013!

The Turlock Journal reports:
“Turlock’s unemployment rate in December grew to 12.3 percent, representing an estimated 3,500 unemployed people”

Turlock is in need of a ray of hope in this challenging time. “We have seen what the recession has done to so many families in so many areas of the United States.” says Maria Magruder, Founder of Lifeline Outreach Int’l. “It has literally left thousands in America homeless and hungry. We are believing for corporations that are prospering to do their part and support America.”

One of the plants closing is Dawn Foods, where 265 jobs will be lost alone. Some Turlock residents have worked there for over 30 years.

Reported by the Modesto Bee News:
Dawn Food Products will close it’s three Modesto manufacturing plants in March, which will cost 265 workers their jobs. Bassitt, who heads the Stanislaus Economic Development & Workforce Alliance said many of the employees do not speak fluent English, which is going to make it especially hard for them to find new jobs.

“There just are not a lot of jobs now or in the future for semiskilled or low-skilled people who don’t speak English,” Basitt Said. “Everybody knew this day might come. Well, it’s here.”

Read more at: http://www.modbee.com/2012/01/24/2038473/modesto-cake-mix-plants-to-close.html

According to Bassitt the “day is here” of challenge for the people of Turlock and Modesto. Who is going to help people like Herlinda Carranza, who works in packing, said she’s been told she could be out of work in a week or two? A 64-year-old from Turlock has worked at the site for 35 years says, “doesn’t know what she will do if the plant closes. “I’ll have no money.”

Lifeline Outreach Int’l will be distributing food to over 600 families this weekend of January 27-29th to Turlock and Modesto residents. According to Magruder, they have collected enough food for 200 families but are still short for 400 families. Magruder says,”We have contacted major food donors such as “Feed the Hungry, World Vision and Feed the Children. No one has been able to assist. We were blessed by Safeway corporation with 50 pallets of water and candy.

umpqua bank routing code

Though it is a blessing, it is not an adequate food supply and in need of more.”

Magruder is sending out a challenge to corporations to help. She says they can donate food or donate finances. Any corporation that donates will receive a full tax receipt for their kindness, as well as photos and video footage of the distribution itself.

September 1st, 2011 – Lifeline Outreach Int’l announces its partnership with Savtira, a leading ecommerce provider of Digital Distribution with a Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) e-commerce platform that is a turnkey system for the distribution, marketing, merchandising, and selling of both digital media and physical goods in a single store and a single, unified shopping cart.

Lifeline Outreach Int’l recently stumbled upon Savtira via LinkedIn social network. With this new partnership, Lifeline Outreach Int’l will be launching a new website offering a global, cutting edge media platform to churches, ministries, and non-profits to help further the mission of reaching humanity with the gospel of Jesus Christ to a world that is in great need.

What will this new media site do for charities? It will provide a media distribution of video, audio, ebooks and much more. A place where each charity, whether, church, ministry or non-profit, can upload their own digital content and share globally and or offer it for download for a free or for a fee. It will be a place of where charities can share their mission and endeavor’s, as well as receiving additional funding for their projects.
